WHAT is the Atlanta Adventurers Club?
The Atlanta Adventurers Club is a part of the Atlanta Smiles community awareness initiative. The Club is headed by Author Angie Patnode and housed in the Centennial Olympic Park Office. The Atlanta Adventurers Club is a group of children who know their Atlanta backyard well and are eager to share it with others.

WHO can be a member?
Anyone between the ages of Pre-K and 8th grade, who has completed his or her "Atlanta Adventurers Checklist."

WHY do I want to join?
Atlanta Adventurers are viewed as the most important young people in the capital city. They care about Atlanta, know it well and have a desire to share it with friends, family and neighbors. They are viewed as our junior leaders of Atlanta, and future great leaders of our state. Throughout the year, Adventurers can join Author Angie Patnode on completing some exciting community service projects around the city, to help this capital city stay vibrant and beautiful!  All members of the Atlanta Adventurers Club will be awarded a certificate signed by Atlanta Smiles Author when they redeem their bookmarks at the Centennial Olympic Park Office in downtown Atlanta.  In addition, they will be invited to an annual Family Ice Cream Celebration, where they will be awarded their official Atlanta Adventurer medals.

HOW can I join?
Three short steps:

1. Grab your Atlanta Adventurer Checklist, which is the bookmark found in every Atlanta Smiles book. If you have lost your bookmark, you may print out the Atlanta Adventurers Checklist here.  Complete the list by doing at least 15 of the adventures James and Addie enjoyed in the book.
2. Visit the Centennial Olympic Park Office in downtown Atlanta to show them your completed Checklist.  They will take down your contact information, so the Author can invite you and your family to the first Atlanta Adventurers Celebration ... and so you can start experiencing your Club Membership.   
   
3. THAT'S IT! YOU'LL BE AN AUTOMATIC MEMBER OF THE ATLANTA ADVENTURERS CLUB!
